The Ins and Outs of Meditation
When we hear the word “meditation,” we imagine a peaceful looking yogi, sitting atop a mountain with a look of serenity on his/her face. We think, "That is what I need. That is what I want." So, we plop ourselves down, close our eyes, and after only a few minutes, our minds are still racing. We think this whole meditation thing is too hard. We fidget. We feel tempted to check our phones. A million other things begin to distract us. Meditation, surely, must be impossible.
